Bobby Wagner Throws Ceremonial First Pitch At Seattle Mariners Game

The All-Pro linebacker's toss was reportedly a "notch below" Mariners ace Felix Hernandez.

The Seattle Mariners are 1-0 this season in games where a Seahawk has thrown out the ceremonial first pitch.

All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner had that honor on Friday - fedora night at Safeco Field - ahead of a game the Mariners went on to win in walk-off fashion, 2-1, over the visiting Boston Red Sox.

Wagner, working from the mound, saw his toss go all the way to home plate - a much better attempt than rapper 50 Cent.

It was Wagner's first time throwing the first pitch for the Mariners, but he was part of a Seahawks collective the baseball club honored as Super Bowl XLVIII champions to open their 2014 season in Seattle. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw out the first pitch at that game.
