The Seahawks are excited to bring you Episode 4 of the five-part series called 'Before the Noise.' The series is the prequel to the season-long docuseries ‘The Sound.’

In Episode 3 of 'Before the Noise,' fans heard from all eight draftees as well as head coach Mike Macdonald and general manager/president of football operations John Schneider about their experience throughout the three days of the draft.

For this episode, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com, Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times and John Boyle of Seahawks.com all shared their experiences for what this offseason has been like this year and what is different than past seasons.

Also hear from head coach Mike Macdonald, offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, defensive coordinator Aden Durde and special teams coordinator Jay Harbaugh on what their experience has been like getting to know each other and the team.

Because of the amount of new players on the team Boyle said that this season presents an opportunity for leaders to step up on the defense after having players move on during the offseason.

"For the longest time, Bobby Wagner was the voice on defense and then even maybe a guy like Quandre Diggs, and with them gone now, I think it's a great opportunity for a player like Uchenna Nwosu, who has been a really good player his first two years here…he's a leader of a young group up front on the edge," Boyle said. "On the backend of the defense, it's a great opportunity for someone like Julian Love to really step up and lead that young secondary."

There's one final installment of 'Before the Noise' that 12s can watch in two weeks to grasp a better understanding of all the hard work, dedication and long hours that go into building the Seahawks.

The Seahawks held the first of three minicamp practices on June 11, 2024 at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.
