The Seahawks’ 2026 schedule was announced on Thursday, and it includes a franchise-record six primetime games, including the first Christmas game in franchise history. The Seahawks will play a total of 10 games against teams that made the postseason last year, including a Super Bowl LX rematch with the Patriots to open the season. For more on all 17 games, here is a game-by-game look at the Seahawks' 2026 schedule.
Week 1: vs. New England Patriots, September 9, 5:20 p.m., NBC
Why not kick off the 2026 NFL season with a rematch of the game that ended last season, right? The Seahawks were dominant in a Super Bowl LX victory over the Patriots in February, but it's a new season, and as Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald has said repeatedly this offseason, last year's season, no matter how memorable, isn't relevant to what the team does in 2026: "We're trying to be really careful with our language, we're not really saying we're running anything back, we're not defending anything. That's just not really our attitude."
Careful language or not, it will be a thrilling day for fans when the Seahawks unveil a new championship banner in primetime against the Patriots.
Week 2: at Arizona Cardinals, September 20, 1:25 p.m., FOX
The Cardinals will be looking to make an early statement that they're not afterthought in a loaded NFC West, while the Seahawks will be looking to improve upon an 11-1-1 road record over the Cardinals dating back to 2013. A fun subplot in this game will be the matchups between former Notre Dame teammates and 2026 first-round pick running backs Jadarian Price and Jeremiyah Love.
Week 3: at Washington Commanders, September 27, 10 a.m., FOX
The Seahawks are back in the Nation's capital for the second straight season, having rolled to a dominant win in 2025 behind a standout performance from quarterback Sam Darnold. Thanks to a plethora of primetime games as well as a schedule that includes the AFC West, this is one of only two 10 a.m. PT games on Seattle's schedule this year.
Week 4: vs. Los Angeles Chargers, October 4, 1:25 p.m., CBS
Harbaugh brothers John and Jim are both important figures in Mike Macdonald's career, and he'll face both of them this season, starting with this game against the Jim Harbaugh-led Chargers, who are looking to build off of consecutive 11-6 seasons that both ended in wild card-round exits.
Week 5: vs. San Francisco 49ers, October 11, 1:25 p.m., FOX
The Seahawks will look to continue their strong play against the 49ers, who failed to find the end zone against the Seahawks twice last January, both in a Week 18 loss with the NFC West title and No. 1 seed on the line, as well as in a divisional round loss in Seattle.
Week 6: at Denver Broncos, October 15, 5:15 p.m., Amazon
Two of the league's top defenses will face off in a tough early-season game for the Seahawks, who will be hitting the road for a short-week primetime contest against last year's AFC runners up.
Week 7: vs. Kansas City Chiefs, October 25, 5:20 p.m., NBC
This one seemed destined to be played in primetime. Not only are the Chiefs the most successful team of this decade, led by an offense that features one of the league's biggest stars in quarterback Patrick Mahomes as well as future Hall of Fame tight end/Taylor Swift's fiancé Travis Kelce; they also will be coming to town with a new starting running back, Kenneth Walker III, who spent his first four seasons with the Seahawks, finishing on a high note by winning Super Bowl MVP honors earlier this year.
Week 8: vs. Chicago Bears, November 2, 5:15 p.m., ESPN
The Bears fell just short of facing the Seahawks in the NFC championship game, and figure to again be among the NFC's elite teams under the leadership of second-year head coach Ben Johnson and dynamic young quarterback Caleb Williams. This will be the Seahawks' third consecutive primetime game and second in a row at Lumen Field.
Week 9: vs. Arizona Cardinals, November 8, 1:25 p.m., FOX
Last year's dominant 44-22 home win over the Cardinals featured a pair of defensive touchdowns, and was Seattle's ninth consecutive win over Arizona. This game caps a stretch of five home games in a six-week span.
Week 10: at Las Vegas Raiders, November 15, 1:05 p.m., CBS
This game includes plenty of intrigue despite the two teams having very different 2025 seasons, with the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl and the Raiders going to 3-14 to earn the No. 1 pick in this year's draft. Not only will this be a chance to perhaps see said No. 1 pick, quarterback Fernando Mendoza, it will also be a reunion with former Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, who became the Raiders' head coach not long after helping the Seahawks win a title.
Week 11: BYE
Week 12: at San Francisco 49ers, November 29, 1:25 p.m., FOX
The Seahawks return to Levi's Stadium for the first time since celebrating a Super Bowl win in the 49ers' locker room. The Seahawks will have very fond memories of the Bay Area, having not only won the Super Bowl there, but also a Week 18 contest that clinched the No. 1 seed, but the 49ers will no doubt be looking to spoil those happy memories with a win in late-season game that very likely will have playoff implications for both teams. While the 49ers are home, the Seahawks will have a rest advantage in this game, coming off their bye, while the 49ers will be coming back from a Week 11 game in Mexico City.
Week 13: vs. Dallas Cowboys, December 7, 5:15 p.m., ESPN
A Monday night game against the Cowboys would come with plenty of buzz no matter what, but some interesting connections between the teams add even more intrigue. The Cowboys are led by head coach Brian Schottenheimer, who was the Seahawks' offensive coordinator for three seasons from 2018-2020, while Seahawks defensive coordinator Aden Durde has strong ties to the Cowboys, having began his NFL career as a coaching intern with Dallas in 2014, and having later served as the Cowboys' defensive line coach from 2021-2023 prior to joining the Seahawks in 2024. Seattle's defensive front also features a pair of former Cowboys in DeMarcus Lawrence and free-agent addition Dante Fowler Jr.
Week 14: vs. New York Giants, December 13, 1:25 p.m., FOX
Mike Macdonald will face his longtime boss in new Giants head coach John Harbaugh, who is new to New York after an impressive 18-year run in Baltimore. This matchup will feature two of the better defensive fronts in football, including a Seahawks line led by veteran standout Leonard Williams, who was traded from the Giants to the Seahawks in 2023.
Week 15: at Philadelphia Eagles, December 19, 2 p.m., FOX
While not in primetime, this is another stand-alone national game, pitting the last two Super Bowl champions against each other in a game between two NFC teams with high expectations. While the Eagles and Seahawks don't play regularly, the Seahawks have enjoyed a lot of success over the years when they do play each other, winning eight straight, postseason included, dating back to 2011.
Week 16: vs. Los Angeles Rams, December 25, 5:15 p.m. FOX
The Seahawks host the Rams for a Week 16 primetime game for the second year in a row, and will also be playing on Christmas for the first time in franchise history. After three down-to-the wire matchups between these teams helping define last season, it's hard to imagine that this game will be anything but another thriller between two of the league's best teams.
Week 17: at Carolina Panthers, January 3, 10 a.m., FOX
As was the case last season, the Seahawks travel to Carolina in Week 17 following a Week 16 game against the Rams. Carolina, led by former Seahawks assistant Dave Canales, is a young team that looks to be trending in the right direction after winning the NFC South last season, and figured to provide a good late-season test.
Week 18: at Los Angeles Rams, date/time/TV TBD
It had to come down to this, right? The Rams and Seahawks looked to be the clear top two teams in the league by the end of last season, and figure to again be heavyweight contenders again this year. As was the case when the Seahawks closed things out with the 49ers with the No. 1 seed on the line last year, this Week 18 NFC West showdown figures to come with very high stakes.
