Fittingly, the NFC championship will be decided by a pair of teams from the NFC West.

The Seahawks, who advanced to the NFC championship game with a dominant win over the 49ers on Saturday, will host the Rams in the NFC championship game on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Lumen Field in a game televised on FOX.

A day after the Seahawks beat the 49ers 41-6 in the divisional round, the Rams punched their ticket to the NFC championship game with a 20-17 overtime win over the Bears in Chicago.

All season long, it was evident that the NFC West was one of the league's top divisions, with the 14-3 Seahawks winning the division while the Rams and 49ers both made the playoffs with 12-5 records. This year marked the fourth time since 1970 that one division has had three teams among the league's final eight. Now the NFC West has two of the final four teams standing.

This will be the third meeting between the Rams and Seahawks, with each team winning at home in a down-to-the-wire finish. In Week 11, the Seahawks saw a comeback come up short when Jason Myers missed a 61-yard field goal at the end of the game, then in Week 16, the Seahawks overcame a 16-point fourth-quarter deficit on their way to an overtime victory.

This will be the fourth time the Seahawks have hosted a conference title game, having also done so following the 2005, 2013 and 2014 seasons, advancing to the Super Bowl all three times.

The Seahawks defeated the San Francisco 49ers in dominant fashion in the NFC Divisional Round matchup at Lumen Field. Check out the best postgame celebration photos from the win.
