Seahawks Celebrated Black History Month In The Community

The Seahawks celebrated Black history month with many events which included a happy hour with the Seahawks at local Black-owned business, Taste of the Caribbean, an employee book club where employees read Lynda Blackmon Lowery's book Turning 15 on the Road to Freedom, a visit with local high schoolers and middle schoolers to the Northwest African American Museum and a panel discussion to honor Black college football pioneer, Eddie Robinson with Seahawks Legends.

Traci Schneider and the Seahawks delivered sensory kits to Seattle Children's Hospital in honor of Autism Awareness Month.

The Seahawks are proud to announce another round of Girls High School Flag Football grants. Special thanks to Gatorade for contributing to the grants and helping us Fuel Tomorrow.

Seahawks Legends and staff, alongside Choose 180 staff, embarked on a weeklong trip to the south for a Black History learning tour confronting our country's history of racism. Led by Sankofa Impact, the group visited numerous southern cities to meet with Civil Rights foot soldiers and activists working in their community.
