HOW ACQUIRED:

Drafted with the fifth pick in the third round (69th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft. Second-highest player drafted out of Kansas St. and only the fourth player drafted out of Kansas St. in club history (Last: Chris Harper, 2013).

COLLEGE:  One of the top wide receivers and all-purpose players in school history who is Kansas State’s first four-year All-American. One of just three players in school history to earn all-conference honors all four years. Set 17 school records, including career marks for receptions (249), receiving yards (3,710), receiving touchdowns (29), 100-yard receiving games (17), kickoff-return attempts (77) and kickoff-return yards (2,196). Topped his father, Kevin, for the school’s career receptions, yards and touchdowns records.

SENIOR: Started all 13 games, earning Consensus All-America honors. First Team All-Big 12 as both a wide receiver and kick returner and earned the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year award for second-straight season. Caught 106 passes for 1,515 yards, a 14.3 avg., with 11 touchdowns. He recorded 18 kickoff returns for 362 yards and a 20.1 avg. Returned 21 punts for 402 yards, a 19.1 avg. and two TD returns. Led the nation in punt-return average (19.1), while he ranked third in total receiving yards (1,515), all-purpose yards (2,279) and punt-return touchdowns (2), and seventh in receptions (106). Led the Big 12 in receiving yards in addition to all-purpose yards. Had eight 100-yard receiving games to tie the school record, including finishing the season with a school-record five-straight 100- yard games. Campbell Trophy and Senior CLASS Award finalist while being named the Big 12 Scholar Athlete of the Year and a First Team Academic All-Big 12 performer.

JUNIOR: Second Team All-American by the Football Writers Association and Phil Steele. Was named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year by the league’s coaches, while also earning First Team All-Big 12 honors as a wide receiver and kick returner. Picked up first team all-conference accolades from the Associated Press as both a wide receiver and all-purpose player. Recorded 81 receptions for 1,262 yards, a 15.6 avg. and 11 receiving TDs. Returned 22 kickoffs for a total of 583 yards and a 26.5 avg. Ranked top-25 nationally in six categories, placing 11th in receiving yards per game (105.2), 12th in all-purpose yards per game (154.92), 16th in total receiving yards (1,262), 17th in kickoff returns (26.5), 19th in receiving touchdowns (11) and 22nd in receptions per game (6.8). Named to the AFCA Good Works team and earned Second Team Academic All-Big 12 honors.

SOPHOMORE: Earned Second Team All-Big 12 honors as an all-purpose player by the Associated Press, while he was an honorable mention selection at wide receiver by both the league’s coaches and the Associated Press. Started 11 games at receiver, ranking second on the team with 44 receptions for 687 yards and a team-high tying four touchdowns. Returned 21 kicks for 688 yards, a 32.8 avg. and two return TDs.

FRESHMAN: Started six of nine games played. First Team Walter Camp All-American as a kickoff returner. Earned Second Team All-America accolades from Sports Illustrated. Named the Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year, a Second Team All-Big 12 kick returner. Set the Big 12 and K-State single-season record for kickoff-return average at 35.2 yards per return. Totaled 563 kickoff-return yards on 16 returns with two touchdowns. Caught 18 receptions for 246 yards, a 13.7 avg. and 3 TDs.

PERSONAL: Prepped at Booker T. Washington High School under head coach Darrell Hall. Caught 42 passes for 765 yards and 13 touchdowns his senior season. Also had 54 tackles and six interceptions on defense. Led the Hornets to a 13-1 record and a win in the 5A state title game. Was born September 28, 1992, in Tulsa, Okla. Son of Kevin Lockett and Nicole Edwards. Has three siblings, Sterling, Jacob and Jordan. Majored in business management.
