COLLEGE: Three-year letterman who appeared in 48 games, making 26 starts at defensive end. Recorded 120 tackles (67 solo), 11 sacks, 35 tackles for a loss, one forced fumble, four fumble recoveries, six passes defensed and one interception over the course of his career. Recorded 19.5 TFLs over last 16 games. Posted a tackle for loss in nine of 10 games.
SENIOR: Appeared in 10 games, making nine starts. Recorded 42 tackles (29 solo), 4.5 sacks for 52 yards, 13.5 TFLs, one fumble recovery and two passes defensed. Tallied eight tackles vs. Northwestern (Nov. 8), including 2.5 TFLs, 1.5 sacks and broke up two passes. Recorded four tackles, including one TFL, and recovered a fumble vs. Michigan St. (Oct. 25). Recorded seven tackles and two TFLs, including one sack vs. Penn St. (Oct. 11). Posted three tackles, including one TFL and 0.5 sacks vs. Minnesota (Sept. 27). Recorded five stops and 2.5 TFLs vs. Iowa (Nov. 23). Tallied career-highs with nine tackles and 2.5 TFL vs. Michigan St. (Nov. 2). Recorded three tackles and one sack for a 12-yard loss vs. Indiana (Oct. 19). SOPHOMORE: Appeared in 11 games. Started four games at defensive end and appeared in seven games as a reserve defensive end. Posted career-bests in total tackles (25), solo stops (16), tackles for loss (nine), sacks (two), pass breakups (three), forced fumbles (one) and fumble recoveries (one). Recorded four tackles, one sack, two tackles-for-loss and one fumble recovery vs. Ohio St. (Nov. 24). Tallied three tackles, including two tackles-for-loss and his first career sack vs. IOWA (Nov. 17). Notched three solo tackles, including one for-a-loss, and one forced fumble vs. Minnesota (Nov. 3). Made first career start vs. Massachusetts (Sept. 15) and compiled three tackles, including one for a loss, and two pass breakups.
FRESHMAN: Sugar Bowl champion. Appeared in 12 games and had 10 tackles and one interception. Made first career interception in the Sugar Bowl vs. Virginia Tech (Jan. 3), which led to U-M’s second touchdown. Also recorded first career tackle-for-loss (assist) and set career high with five tackles.
PERSONAL: Attended Glenville High School coached by Ted Ginn, Sr. Ran 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds. Recorded 70 tackles and 19 sacks as a senior. Also caught 12 passes his senior year, including three for touchdowns. Born June 14, 1993. Majored in general studies.
