Following the Seattle Seahawks’ 33-27 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 3, head coach Pete Carroll provided the following injury updates about his team: Read
- Seahawks linebacker Dewey McDonald left the game after sustaining a knee injury on the game’s opening kickoff. Carroll said they are concerned McDonald’s injury may be ACL-related. “He injured his knee right off the bat,” Carroll said. “There’s ACL concerns, we’ve got to see once they get all the tests done and stuff like that.” McDonald’s injury comes in addition to the Seahawks already dealing with injuries to special teamers D.J. Alexander and Neiko Thorpe, who were both inactive Sunday in Tennessee. “It hurts your depth, it factors in across the board. Those are three terrific football players for us. We miss them.”
- Doug Baldwin had an outstanding game against the Titans but left the contest late because of a groin strain, per Carroll. Carroll said he’s unsure of the severity of the strain. Baldwin finished with 10 catches on 15 targets for 105 yards and a touchdown on Sunday.
- Tyler Lockett went down for a brief moment late in the fourth quarter after getting the wind knocked out of him on a play. Lockett did end up returning to the field. “(He) got the wind knocked out of him or something like that … just took him a while to get back up,” Carroll said.
