Seahawks Sign Defensive End Dion Jordan

The Seahawks added pass-rush depth Friday, signing former first-round pick Dion Jordan.

The Seahawks added another pass rusher to their roster Friday, signing former first-round pick Dion Jordan.

Jordan, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2013 draft, has not played since the 2014 season, missing 2015 due to suspension and last season because of a knee injury. In his first two seasons with Miami, the former University of Oregon standout appeared in 26 games, recording 46 tackles, 3.0 sacks and 3 passes defensed. The Dolphins waived Jordan last month.

Jordan, who is 6-foot-6, 275 pounds, began his college career as a tight end before switching to defense, and was a two-time first-team All-Pac-12 selection, recording 12.5 sacks and 23.5 tackles for loss over his final two seasons with the Ducks.

With Friday's signing, the Seahawks have now added two of the top three picks from the 2013 draft this offseason, having also signed offensive lineman Luke Joeckel, the No. 2 pick in that draft, earlier in free agency.

Take a look back at the career of defensive end Dion Jordan, who signed a free agent deal with the Seahawks on Friday.
