Seattle Seahawks Sign 18 Players To Future Contracts

The Seahawks announced the signing of 18 players to future contracts on Monday, 13 of which spent time on Seattle's active roster or practice squad this past year.

The Seahawks announced Monday the signing of 18 players to 2016 future contracts, the majority of whom spent time with the team in 2015 either on the practice squad or active roster.

That list includes all 10 players who ended the season on the practice squad, as well as Poole, a 2015 fourth-round pick who was on the practice squad injured reserve list.

New to the Seahawks are Sims, who went undrafted out of Winston-Salem State last year and spent time with Arizona last year; East, an undrafted free agent out Vanderbilt who spent training camp with Kansas City; Shields, an undrafted free agent out of Kentucky; Shirley, who played at the University of Washington before transferring to UNLV, and who spent time last season with Oakland and Tampa Bay, and Tyson, a 2012 seventh-round pick who has appeared in 34 games with Baltimore, starting six.
