Seahawks Re-Sign WR B.J. Daniels, add LB Tyrell Adams to Practice Squad

The Seahawks brought receiver B.J. Daniels back two days after waiving him, and filled out their practice squad by signing linebacker Tyrell Adams.

Just two days after being waived, B.J. Daniels was back in the Seahawks locker room preparing for Thursday's practice having been re-signed to Seattle's roster.

The quarterback-turned-receiver made the team out of training camp, but was waived Tuesday along with running back Rod Smith when the Seahawks needed to add depth at linebacker and cornerback, two positions affected by injuries in recent weeks.

Daniels, who has one catch for 12 yards this season, fills the roster spot opened by the suspension of fullback Derrick Coleman.

The Seahawks also signed linebacker Tyrell Adams to their practice squad. That move along with Wednesday's signing of linebacker Eric Pinkins filled the two open spots on the 10-man practice squad.

Adams, who went undrafted out of West Georgia, signed with the Seahawks after taking part in rookie minicamp as a tryout player, but was released in the cut-down to 53 players. He has since spent time on Kansas City's practice squad.
