COLLEGE: As a redshirt junior at Ole Miss in 2024, played in 12 games with 11 starts and helped anchor the best rush defense in the nation and one of the best defenses in program history. Finished the season as the team leader with 88 tackles (50 solo) and ranked fourth among Rebels with 11.0 tackles for loss. Also notched 3.5 sacks, four passes defensed, one interception and one fumble recovery. Finished the regular season ranked eighth in the SEC with 7.3 tackles per game and was Pro Football Focus' no.7 overall defender in the SEC in defensive grade (87.2) and tackling grade (85.9). Before his time at Ole Miss, appeared in 28 games with 11 starts at Arkansas and was a key contributor in his three seasons with the Razorbacks. Notched 137 tackles (68 solo), 15.0 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks, one forced fumble and one pass defensed during his time at Arkansas. Earned Freshman All-America Second-Team honors and was on the Freshman All-SEC team.
PERSONAL: Was a consensus three-star prospect coming out of Crisp County High according to 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN where he played linebacker and running back at Crisp County High School. As a senior, notched 91 tackles in 11 games and added 20.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one blocked punt. On offense, he recorded eight rushes for 67 yards and a touchdown to go along with four catches for 57 yards and one touchdown. As a junior, tallied 157 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks to help lead Crisp County to an 11-4 record. He also added 13 rushes for 113 yards and three touchdowns along with 10 catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns. He registered 92 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, and reached the state championship game his sophomore season. Nickname is "Pooh". Majored in sociology.
