Zach Hensley serves as the Vice President of Operations and General Manager for Lumen Field, Lumen Field Event Center, and WAMU Theater. He initially joined the Seahawks organization in 2015 as Managing Director of Guest Experience, before being promoted to his current position in 2020. In his current role, Hensley is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of business operations and strategic decision-making across these premier venues.
Under Hensley's leadership, Lumen Field has significantly enhanced its game day experience by introducing a variety of innovative features. These include a new communal field-view bar area beneath the Hawks Nest, thirteen Amazon Just Walk Out Markets, two Amazon Just Walk Out RFID retail locations, the T-Mobile Endzone Club, and the 1976 Club. These additions have helped elevate the fan experience, combining convenience, cutting-edge technology, and exclusive spaces for a premier event atmosphere.
With over 25 years of experience in stadium operations, hospitality, and customer service, Hensley has developed a distinguished career in managing and enhancing the operations of numerous high-profile facilities. He has played a pivotal role in project management, planning and concept design for the construction and opening of several major stadiums, including Levi's Stadium in 2014 and the KFC Yum! Center in 2010. Throughout his career, Hensley has provided operational leadership for a diverse range of organizations and events, including the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Sounders FC, San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, OL Reign, Seattle Sea Dragons, and the University of Louisville. His expertise has also contributed to the success of prestigious events such as Super Bowls, MLS Cups, MLS CONCACAF Champions League, NHL All-Star Games, NCAA Football Championships, WrestleMania, NHL Stadium Series, and NCAA Final Four Championships.
Zach serves on the Seattle Chamber of Commerce Board and the Stadium Managers Association Board of Directors.
He resides in Bellevue with his wife, Valerie, and two children, Emma, and Chase.
