The highly-anticipated, fan-favorite Wiener Dog Race returns to the Seahawks' halftime show at Seattle's CenturyLink Field this weekend, right in the middle of the team's NFC West matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.

The Dachshunds racing this weekend have earned the right to compete through qualifying matches throughout the year, with Kirby and Maxx Throttle, dogs who tied for first place at last year's event, looking to repeat as Wiener Dog Race champions. The show benefits Old Dog Haven, a community of private homes providing more than 250 of Western Washington's oldest dogs with a final refuge foster home.
