Seahawks Partner With Local Company To Upcycle Banners And Raise Money For Charity

The Seahawks and Alchemy Goods announced Seahawks-themed, eco-friendly tote bags made from recycled stadium and event banners on-sale at the team's four Pro Shop locations. All proceeds from tote bag sales will be designated to the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

RENTON, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks and Alchemy Goods announced today one-of-a-kind Seahawks-themed tote bags on-sale at the Seahawks' four pro shop locations. The eco-friendly bags were made from recycled stadium and event banners. The bags are $22 and all proceeds from the tote bag sales will be designated to the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WSCADV).

"Thank you to the Seahawks for providing this wonderful opportunity for 12s to support our work to prevent domestic violence," said Kelly Starr, Managing Director of the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence. "October is Domestic Violence Action Month, and purchasing a tote bag is a way to get involved and play a role in promoting healthy, respectful relationships."

The bags are durable, strong and water resistant. Some of the bags were created from the two 50 by 25 foot banners that hung from the west side of the CenturyLink Field Event Center garage the past few years.

The upcycled tote bags will be available at the team's four area shops, located at CenturyLink Field, Downtown Seattle at 4th & Pike, Renton Landing and Alderwood Mall.
