Seahawks Announce Week Two CenturyLink High School Athlete of the Week

Cassadie Golding of Montesano High School is the newest recipient of the CenturyLink High School Athlete of the Week.

SEATTLE and RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks, CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) and KIRO Radio announced Cassadie Golding of Montesano High School as week two CenturyLink High School Athlete of the Week. Cassadie will be recognized on the field at CenturyLink Field during the Seahawks vs. Rams game on October 3.

Cassadie, a junior at Montesano High School, was selected the CenturyLink High School Athlete of the Week based on her dedication to academics, community involvement, leadership, and athletic performance. Cassadie holds a 4.0 GPA while taking honors courses and participating on the Dance/Drill, Cheerleading, Soccer, and Softball teams. Cassadie uses her love of sports as a platform to give back to her community. As a Buddy Coordinator for the Grays Harbor Little League Challenger Program, Cassadie teaches children with disabilities to play baseball and teaches outdoors safety and leadership skills to young girls as a volunteer camp counselor. Cassadie also serves as ASB Business Manager and coordinator of the Food Bowl program, which collects donations for a local food bank. Cassadie is highly self-motivated and sits on a leadership panel for the Dance/Drill team to develop team building strategies and sets an example for her peers. Cassadie hopes to turn her passion for sports into a career and aspires to work in the sports marketing field.

Each student athlete will be recognized at his or her school in front of families, peers and teachers, as well as at a Seahawks game. Each winner will also receive a $1,000 grant to their school's Athletic Department from the Seahawks along with media recognition, tickets and sideline passes to the Seahawks vs. Rams game on October 3rd, a customized football, and a customized 2019 Seahawks jersey. A total of $10,000 will be awarded to high schools over the course of the program.
