Seahawks Announce Week Three CenturyLink High School Athlete of the Week

Andrea Harteloo of South Kitsap High School will be recognized at CenturyLink Field during the November 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

SEATTLE and RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks, CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) and KIRO Radio announced Andrea Harteloo of South Kitsap High School as week three CenturyLink High School Athlete of the Week. Andrea will be recognized on the field at CenturyLink Field during the November 4 game vs. the Los Angeles Chargers.

Andrea, a senior at South Kitsap High School, was selected Athlete of the Week based on her leadership through athletics, academics, and community action. She maintains a 3.9 cumulative GPA while taking advanced placement classes and aspires to study engineering in college. Andrea is also a participant of the Western Aerospace Scholar (WAS) Program, a 5-credit University of Washington course for high school students interested in STEM education. Within the program, Andrea interned at the Museum of Flight and helped design a mission to Mars. Andrea also volunteers at Kitsap Humane society and helps find foster homes for rescued animals. At South Kitsap High School, Andrea plays both varsity volleyball and track.

Each student athlete will be recognized at his or her school in front of families, peers and teachers, as well as at a Seahawks game. Each winner will also receive a $1,000 grant to their school's Athletic Department from the Seahawks along with media recognition, tickets and sideline passes to a Seahawks game, a customized football, and a customized 2018 Seahawks jersey. A total of $10,000 will be awarded to high schools over the course of the season.
