2014

Michael Bennett is signed to a four-year contract after leading the Super Bowl champion Seahawks with 8.5 sacks during the 2013 season. The versatile and productive defensive lineman also would lead the team with seven sacks in 2014.

2008

Julius Jones is signed in free agency to replace all-time leading rusher Shaun Alexander, who would be released in April. Jones led the Seahawks in rushing in each of his first two seasons, but never surpassed 700 yards.
