With the first of two picks in the seventh round, the Seahawks selected California wide receiver Kenny Lawler, the No. 243 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

After taking part in a conference call with the Seattle-area media this past Saturday, Lawler joined Seahawks.com for a light-hearted Q&A session that should help 12s get to know the Pomona, California native a little bit better.

1. Nickname?

Lawler: "K-Law."

2. College major?

Lawler: "Sociology."

3. Hobbies?

Lawler: "I play a lot of games. I'm the best Madden player. That's one of my favorite games."

4. Projected Madden rating?

Lawler: "I'm gonna go with a 70."

5. Gameday superstitions?

Lawler: "My gloves have got to be real tight. I've got to have real tight gloves. It just messes with me, I don't know what it is. They have to just be real tight."

6. First job?

Lawler: "This has been my job ever since I was five."

7. Favorite T.V. show?

Lawler: "That's going to be a hard one, I watch a lot of T.V. shows. I've been on some good ones lately, like The Walking Dead, The Following, Wayward Pines, I like that one a lot, and I'll go a classic for the last one, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."

8. Favorite NFL team growing up?

Lawler: "My favorite NFL team now is the Seahawks. It was the Atlanta Falcons, but I'm a Seahawk now, baby."

9. Favorite non-NFL team growing up?

Lawler: "Phoenix Suns."

10. Favorite food?

Lawler: "Lumpia, a Filipino dish."

11. Favorite artist?

Lawler: "I'm a local type of guy, so my favorite artist is my man Dai Dai. He's an up-and-coming rapper right now. He's a very motivational rapper."

12. First album you ever purchased?

Lawler: "The first album I ever purchased was Kanye West's Late Registration."

13. Better trilogy: 'Star Wars' or 'Lord of the Rings?'

Lawler: "Star Wars."

14. Dog person or cat person?

Lawler: "I'm definitely a dog person."

15. Pancakes or waffles?

Lawler: "Waffles, for sure."

16. Kobe or LeBron?

Lawler: "Kobe."

17. Michael Jordan or Crying Jordan?

Lawler: "What's the difference? [Laughter] Man, Michael Jordan."

18. First thing you're hoping to buy as an NFL player is…?

Lawler: "I'm going to buy my mom something nice."

19. The Seahawks player or coach you're looking forward to meeting most is…?

Lawler: "Doug Baldwin, Kam Chancellor, and Richard Sherman. Kam Chancellor, I want to meet him, the man plays the game like nobody else. I just can't wait to go meet the team. I just want to meet the team and the coaches, I want to fit in with them."

20. The best player in the NFL at your position is…?

Lawler: "Antonio Brown."

21. If a Seahawks fan were to come to your hometown, the first place you'd take them is…?

Lawler: "I'd take them to Donahoo's Chicken."

22. A city or country you'd like to visit is…?

Lawler: "There's so many beautiful places. I'd like to visit Dubai."

23. The best advice you've ever received is…?

Lawler: "My story has already been written, so don't be discouraged by anything."

24. Aside from the NFL, your dream job would be…?

Lawler: "This is my dream job. This is all I've ever known, football ever since I was young."
