Good morning, 12s. Here's a look at what's out there today — Thursday, December 21 — about your Seattle Seahawks.

Seahawks QB Geno Smith continues to spread holiday joy with visit to Seattle Children's Hospital.

In November, Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith held his second-annual 7 Sunday Heroes Turkey giveaway in Seattle, providing meals for the holiday. This week, Smith visited Seattle's Children's Hospital, as he continues to make a tradition in the Pacific Northwest of spreading holiday joy.

In 2022, Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith established himself as starter, leading Seattle to an NFC Wild Card berth while earning Pro-Bowl honors and winning the AP Comeback Player of the Year award. The Miami, Florida native has revitalized his football career in Seattle while also bringing his philanthropic spirit and southern hospitality to the region. Last November, Smith brought his annual 7 Sunday Heroes Turkey Drive to Seattle; shaking hands, taking pictures and handing out turkeys for families in need. It marked the first time the event was held in Seattle, but Smith's philanthropy has been a recurring theme back to his college days at West Virginia University.

Seattle will look to capture its second-straight victory on Christmas Eve, as they prepare to face the Tennessee Titans. A victory for Seattle would put them a step closer to earning a playoff berth, a pleasant holiday gift for the fanbase.
