The Seahawks elevated nose tackles Austin Faoliu and Matthew Gotel from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's regular-season finale at Arizona.

Those two give the Seahawks added defensive line depth with starting nose tackle Jarran Reed listed as questionable due to a knee injury, and defensive end Mario Edwards Jr. ruled out due to a knee injury. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said that Reed, who did not practice all week, will be a game-day decision.

Faoliu, who played at the University of Oregon, initially signed with the Seahawks in May after a standout season with the XFL's Seattle Sea Dragons after which he was named to the All-XFL Team. He signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2022, spending most of the season on the practice squad with one regular-season appearance. Faoliu made his Seahawks debut after being elevated from the practice squad last week.

Gotel, who is from Tacoma, first signed with the Seahawks last year as an undrafted rookie out of University of West Florida, and has spent time on the practice squad the past two seasons. If Gotel plays Sunday it will be his first regular-season NFL game.

Take a look at the 53-man roster for the 2023 Seahawks.
