The Seattle Seahawks second practice report of wild-card week features nearly full participation across the board.
Running back Marshawn Lynch (abdomen) worked in full on Thursday, his second consecutive full participation at practice in what is his first week back with the team since undergoing surgery. Seattle coach Pete Carroll has said if Lynch is able to make it through the week of practice he should get the starting nod on Sunday against the Vikings in Minnesota, and Thursday's designation is another step in the right direction.
Two players who sat out on Wednesday, wide receiver Tyler Lockett (hip) and defensive end Michael Bennett (toe), returned to full participation on Thursday. As did left tackle Russell Okung (calf), strong safety Kam Chancellor (pelvis), and right guard J.R. Sweezy (concussion), all of whom were limited Wednesday but remain on track to play this weekend after missing Seattle's regular-season finale to injury. Cornerback Jeremy Lane (oblique) and defensive tackle Jordan Hill (toe) were also upgraded from limited participants on Wednesday to full participants on Thursday. The only player to not fully participate for Seattle was tight end Luke Willson (concussion), who sat out on Thursday after working in limited fashion on Wednesday.
The Vikings' practice report looks almost the same as it did on Wednesday, with NFL leading rusher Adrian Peterson (low back) missing a second straight day of work and nose tackle Linval Joseph a limited participant. Fullback Zach Line, who didn't participate in Wednesday's practice with an illness, wasn't listed on Thursday's report.
