The Seahawks teamed up with USAA to honor members of the armed forces at Joint Base Lewis McChord on Tuesday as part of the annual 'Change of Command' ceremony.
Seattle players, Blitz, and the Sea Gals helped present a 12 Flag to the team's honored military unit for the 2018 season. The Seahawks welcomed in the 62nd Air Lift Wing - Air Force as their honored unit for 2018 through a 12 Flag hand-off with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), which held the honor last year. Pizza Hut and Coca-Cola donated food and beverage for the event, which marks the seventh season the Seahawks have adopted an honorary military unit.
