Good afternoon, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Thursday, May 28 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

A Sweet Treat

For children with limited access to food, the COVID-19 crisis has presented a variety of difficulties. Looking to help break this barrier, K.J. Wright is stepping in to ensure that children from Boys and Girls Clubs around the Puget Sound region enjoy a few tasty meals this week.

Knowing the importance of supporting both local businesses and children in need, Wright will be helping over 150 children from the Boys and Girls Clubs of King County enjoy delicious meals from Nana's Southern Kitchen, Charles Davis Texas BBQ, and Top Pot Doughnuts.

Off the field, Wright continues to be a difference maker in communities both locally and globally. Our 2018 nominee for the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, he was recognized for his outstanding community service efforts.

"I believe I'm in the position to where it's my job and my duty," Wright has said. "It's very important, because you know I have some people ask me, you know, we have people in our own community, why don't you just help them?"

As he seeks to help people of all ages, Wright continues to make a difference for those in our community and beyond.

Social Post Of The Day

Today's 'Social Post of the Day' comes from mascot Blitz, as he shares his particularly festive outfit from a game last season. I'm not sure what's stopping us from looking like this, but not being a bird with impeccable fashion sense is a good start.
