Friday Round-Up: Seahawks Offensive Lineman Jamarco Jones Among ESPN's NFL Draft Steals

NFL insiders picked their steals for each round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's "out there" for today — Friday, May 11 — about your Seattle Seahawks:

ESPN.com's Mike Sando paneled NFL insiders from around the league to identify one steal from each round of last month's 2018 NFL Draft. The group of insiders included general managers, former GMs, evaluators and more.

For the fifth round of the draft, Seahawks rookie offensive lineman Jamarco Jones was picked as the steal. Seattle selected Jones with pick No. 168:

"Jones might be more of a sleeper than a steal," the insider responsible for the fifth round said. "He has good balance, he has 35 1/2-inch arms, he weighs 314 pounds and he can play guard or tackle. He did not have a good start to the season, and then he ran close to 5.4 in the 40, but if you put him in a short area, those long arms make up for a lot. It'll come down to his makeup. Is he tough? If he has the right makeup, with Mike Solari coaching him, he's got a chance."
