Actor And Comedian Joel McHale Joins TheSeahawks Radio Network Broadcast Booth This Weekend

Renton, Wash. -- The Seattle Seahawks announced today that comedian Joel McHale will serve as radio analyst alongside Steve Raible on the Seahawks Radio Network broadcast of the Seahawks at Chargers game this weekend. The radio network reaches 67 affiliates across Washington, Alaska, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Hawaii. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (PT).

"I am deeply flattered and thrilled to be alongside of Steve Raible to be calling the Seahawks game on Saturday vs. the Chargers. I'm going to tell some jokes, have a really good time, and we are going to win. Here's a little spoiler, Steve Raible is my real father."

McHale, who attended Mercer Island High School, graduated from the University of Washington with a Master of Fine Arts in the Professional Actor Training Program and was a walk-on tight end for the football team. A long-time Seahawks fan, he raised the 12 Flag prior to the Rams game in December of 2015.

He has starred in NBC's hit comedy series, Community. In addition, he wrote, produced and starred inThe Soup on E! where he counted down the most absurd, hysterical, wacky and surreal moments in the world of reality TV and celebrity each week from 2004-15. McHale was also the host at the 2014 White House Correspondents Dinner and he currently hosts the revival of the game show Card Sharks on ABC.
