About the Seahawks Team Physicians
The Seattle Seahawks team physicians consist of some of the most knowledgeable medical practitioners in the National Football league. The four doctor staff has over 80 years of medical experience ranging from ACL injuries of the knee and labral tears of the shoulder to concussions, spine disorders, and sports related medical disorders. Through maintaining close relationships with players and staff athletic trainers, the Seahawks team physicians ensure quick recoveries from on-field injuries and provide the guidance needed to help prevent future injuries.

 | Elias Edward Khalfayan, M.D.Clinical Focus Dr. Khalfayan is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. In addition to being a team physician for the Seattle Seahawks, he is also Medical Director and orthopedic team physician for the Seattle Mariners. Dr. Khalfayan is a clinical instructor for the University of Washington Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and an Editorial Reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine. Education

Herring, M.D.Clinical Focus Dr. Herring's specialty is physical medicine and rehabilitation focusing on musculoskeletal and sports medicine with an emphasis on spinal disorders and concussions. He is a professor at the University of Washington in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Medical Director of Spine Care at the University of Washington. Dr. Herring also serves as a team physician for the Seattle Mariners.. Education
