HOW ACQUIRED:

Signed with the Seahawks as a free agent on August 2, 2009.

NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

● Was an original second-round draft choice (64th overall) by the St. Louis Rams in 2002.

● Tied for the NFL lead in 2003 with 205 interception return yards on team and career-high four interceptions. Total included two TD returns of 57 and 74 yards.

● Missed the first six games of the 2004 season after a broken right arm in preseason game at Kansas City (8/23) sidelined him. Came back to start the final 10 games of the season.

● Ended the 2005 season on injured reserve (groin). Placed on the list December 14.

COLLEGE:

Started 23 of 33 games and registered 130 tackles with four interceptions and 35 passes defensed at Central Florida. Selected to play in the Rotary Gridiron Classic all-star game after senior season. Spent two years at Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College where he helped led the Red Ravens’ defense to a No. 4 ranking in pass defense.

PERSONAL:

Excelled in track and was named Godby (Tallahassee) High’s athlete of the year as a senior. Won state championship in the 100 and 200-meter dash as well as running a led in hte 4x100 meter relay.
