Moved to starting lineup at right tackle in 2005 preseason. Started all 16 games in 2005 and 2007.

 

In 2005, helped Shaun Alexander become the NFL MVP with a career year on the ground with a career-high and Seattle-record 1,880 yards and an NFL-record 28 total touchdowns (27 rush, 1 rec.). Helped Seattle to a club-record 320 rush yards and two 100-yard rushers for only the third time in club history vs. Houston (10/16/05).

COLLEGE:

 

Switched to the offensive line after playing defensive tackle and defensive end first two seasons. Played nearly every offensive snap over his last three seasons, starting the final 27 games of career at variety of positions on the offensive line. Played 23 games on defense with three starts and recorded 68 tackles (39 solo) with five sacks. In his senior season, first Wolfpack offensive lineman since 1992 to earn first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors. Started eight games at right tackle, two at right guard, and one at left tackle.

 

 


 

PERSONAL:

 

Attended Lumberton Senior High where he played both offense and defense. Voted team MVP as a senior after catching 22 passes for 450 yards and averaging 11 tackles per contest on defense. Pulled in 11 passes for 260 yards with three touchdowns as a junior and averaged 8.5 tackles per game with two interceptions. Selected first-team All-County and All-Conference performer both junior and senior years. Two-year letterman in basketball. Graduated with a degree in Sports Management.
