That season, the twoway All-Metro selection also garnered league and Oakland Section Defensive Player of the Year accolades, despite playing for a team that compiled a 2-7-1 record that campaign. He capped his final season with six interceptions on defense. As a ball carrier, he totaled 1,232 yards with fourteen touchdowns on 143 carries (8.6 avg.), adding 103 yards on nine receptions. Also lettered twice for the Vikings’ basketball team and also lettered in track. Sociology major, with a minor in Business Management.
