Signed by Seattle to a future 2012 contract on January 3, 2012.

NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
Spent time from November 9, 2011 to the end of the season on the team’s practice squad. Originally signed as a rookie free agent on July 26, 2011 and played in one preseason game, recording one tackle and one sack, until being waived/injured on September 3.

COLLEGE:
Started for three years at Nebraska, playing in 42 career games with 39 starts. Finished with 184 tackles (71 solo) and 13.5 sacks. After registering a career-high 65 tackles (25 solo) his senior season, named First-Team All-Big 12 by the coaches, second-team All-Big 12 by the Dallas Morning News and honorable mention All-Big 12 by the Associated Press. Posted career-high in sacks (5.0) his sophomore and junior seasons.

PERSONAL:
Played football and basketball at Thomas Jefferson High in Denver, where he helped his team make the 5A state playoffs his final three seasons. In basketball, he helped his team win the 4A state title his final two seasons, earning MVP honors in the state tournament both years. Majored in family science. Born on November 18, 1987.
