NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• Originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Packers on May 2, 2008. Played in two games for Green Bay in 2008 before being placed on injured reserve October 11. Spent 2009 on the Packers practice squad. After going to training camp with the Packers in 2010, was released following training camp and claimed off waivers by Tampa Bay on September 5, 2010.
• First-career action came as a rookie at Detroit (9/14/08).
• In 2011, finished third on the team with 41 receptions for 291 yards. Set a career high with six catches vs. Chicago (10/23).
COLLEGE:
Three-year letter winner at the University of Georgia rushing for 1,656 yards and 15 touchdowns on 340 carries during career. Named to the watch list for the Doak Walker Award, given annually to the nation’s premier college running back, prior to the 2007 season. Played in five games as a senior before sustaining a season-ending knee injury. Led the Bulldogs in rushing with 798 yards as a junior. Played in 12 games as a true freshman, finishing second on the team with 523 yards on 112 carries and seven touchdowns, including the game-winning touchdown in overtime against Purdue in the 2003 Capital One Bowl.
PERSONAL:
Started all four years at running back at Stephenson High School (Stone Mountain, Ga.), and was rated the second-best running back in the nation by Rivals.com as a senior. Received all-state and all-conference honors in football, as well as earning two letters in track and one in basketball. Married to Ember.
