Pro Career:

2007: Played in nine games, recording 21 receptions for 241 yards and one touchdown. Also returned 25 kickoffs for 596 yards (23.8 avg.). Caught a season-high five catches vs. Minnesota (11/11).  Recorded four receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown in the season finale vs. Detroit (12/30/07).

PRO: Re-signed by Seattle on September 16, 2008 after playing with the Seahawks from 2001-04. Signed with Minnesota on September 7, 2005, and re-signed with the team as a free agent in March 2006. Earned Pro Bowl honors for his 2005 performance, representing the Vikings as the NFC’s kick returner. Signed with the Packers on September 12, 2006. He was released by Green Bay following the 2007 season. Orginally selected by Seattle with the ninth pick in the first round of the 2001 NFL Draft. 

2001: Played in all 16 games, starting 13 as a rookie. Played in first career game vs. Philadelphia (9/23) and caught first career TD at Buffalo (11/18). Ranked third on team in receptions. Had season-long 42-yarder at New York Giants (12/23).

2002: Played and started in all 16 games. Recorded career-high 78 catches for 1,240 yards and five touchdowns. His 78 catches ranked 4th-best in team history and were most since Brian Blades’ 81 in 1994. Caught longest pass in Seattle history, an 83-yarder, at St. Louis (10/20). Had career-best day vs. Kansas City (11/24) with 168 yards on eight receptions. Posted five games over 100 yards.

2003: Ranked second on team with 65 catches for 896 yards. Started all 15 games played. Had game-winning TD vs. St. Louis (9/21) with 1:00 remaining in game in regular season finale at San Francisco (12/27) that sealed playoff birth for the club. In playoff debut, started and led team with seven catches for 88 yards with a long of 33 in Wild Card Game at Green Bay (1/4/04).

2004: Helped Seahawks win NFC West for the 1st tim in franchise history and 1st division title since the 1999 AFC West championship. Started eight of 10 games played and ranked third for Seattle with 31 catches for 495 yards. Notched career-high nine catches vs. New England (10/17) for 150 yards. Caught touchdowns at Tampa Bay (9/19) and at San Francisco (11/7). Had four catches for 40 yards in Wild Card Game vs. the Rams (1/8/05).

College Career:

Played in 22 games for the Wolfpack, declaring for the NFL Draft following his sophomore season. Went over the 100-yard receiving mark 14 times in his collegiate career, matching the school record his 15 touchdown receptions. Named a semi-finalist for the Biletnikoff Award as a sophomore to rank second in school history behind Holt’s 88. Named ACC Rookie of the Year in 1999. Entered college as a runnig back and moved to wide receiver.

Personal:

Attended South Point (NC) High. Tabbed as Offensive Player of the Year by the Gaston Gazette as a senior. Ran for over 1,700 yards and 22 touchdowns. Married with two children.
