HOW ACQUIRED:
Selected with the 15th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. Fifth defensive end chosen in the first round in club history (Last: Lawrence Jackson, 2008). Second player drafted out of West Virginia in club history (Owen Schmitt, 2008).

COLLEGE:
Made six starts in 26 games at West Virginia, recording 61 tackles (45 solo), 22.5 sacks, 29 tackles for losses totaling 179 yards, four quarterback pressures, five forced fumbles and one pass defensed. His 22.5 sacks went for minus 159 yards and after just two seasons ranked fifth in school history. Senior: Started the team’s first five games at weak-side defensive end, playing in all 13 games and leading the team with 8.5 sacks (tied for fourth in the Big East). Named All-Big East Conference first-team by the league’s coaches, his 8.5 sacks went for minus 71 yards and he recorded 15 tackles for losses of 91 yards, placing him fourth on the school season- record list. Ended the season ranked ninth on the team with 40 tackles (27 solo), while adding two quarterback pressures and forcing three fumbles. Junior: Played in all 13 games as a reserve weak-side defensive end, seeing 225 snaps as he led the Big East conference and ranked second in the nation with 14 sacks, good for the third-best season-total in school history. Named All-Big East Conference second-team by the league’s coaches and selected All- American honorable mention by Sports Illustrated. His 14 sacks went for minus 81 yards and he totaled 21 tackles (18 solo) with two quarterback pressures, two forced fumbles and a pass defensed. A key part of WVU’s rush defense that ranked second in the nation, allowing 86.46 yards per game and ranked third in both total defense (261.08 ypg) and scoring defense (13.54 ypg). Junior College: Played one season for Mt. San Antonio Junior College and guided the team to a 13-1 record in 2009, sealing conference, state and national championships. Attended Stockbridge High School in Atlanta, Georgia and played three games as a wide receiver during his sophomore year. Transferred to Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia, but never played football. Received his GED diploma. A sociology and anthropology major at West Virginia. Son of Bessie and Rufus Lee.
