HOW ACQUIRED:
Signed by the Seahawks as a free agent on July 26, 2012. Originally drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second-round (63rd overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft. He was traded to the Cleveland Browns on October 19, 2004 and signed as an unrestricted free agent with San Francisco on March 13, 2006. He was out of football in 2007 and signed as a free agent with Tampa Bay on March 10, 2008 where he played two seasons. He signed as an unrestricted free agent with Cincinnati on March 12, 2010 but was released August 29 and did not play in the 2010 or 2011 seasons.

NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

*Named NFL Comeback Player of the Year for 2008 after missing the 2007 season. He posted career-highs in catches (83, T4th NFC), yards (1,248, 6th NFC, 8th NFL) and touchdowns (7) in his first season in Tampa Bay.
*Set career-high with 10 receptions at Chicago (9/21/08).
*Recorded second-best receiving performance in Buccaneers history with a career-high 200 yards at Carolina (12/8/08).
*Became the first wide receiver in 49ers history to record 100-yard receiving games in his first two games with the club, hauling in 114 yards at Arizona (9/10/06) and 131 vs. St. Louis (9/17/06).
*As a rookie with Dallas in 2002, became only the second Dallas rookie to open season as starting wide receiver (Michael Irvin, 1988).

COLLEGE:
Left Pitt after his junior year as the school’s all-time leading receiver with 3,061 yards while his 173 receptions ranked second all-time. Also set the career touchdown mark with 30. Biletnikoff Award winner and consensus All-America selection after his sophomore season at Pitt, becoming just the second sophomore to win the award (Randy Moss, 1997).

PERSONAL:
Attended Northwestern High in Miami. Earned All-Dade County and all-district honors his senior year after recording 53 receptions for 953 yards and 12 touchdowns. Helped Bulls to a 16-0 record and Florida 6A Championship while the team ranked fourth in the nation by USA Today. Majored in justice administration.
