Originally signed by Cleveland as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2013 but was released on August 31. Signed to Seattle’s practice squad on November 27. A four-year letterman at the University of South Carolina who played both safety and cornerback. Appeared in 43 games with 22 starts, collecting 133 tackles, one sack, one interception, 10 passes defensed, four forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He was ranked as the 28th-best player in the state of Florida and the 14th-best cornerback in the country by Rivals.com while earning a four-star rating out of Chaminade-Madonna High School. Credited with 114 tackles and 10 interceptions in his final two seasons, including 54 tackles and three interceptions, returning two for touchdowns, on his way to first team all-state accolades as a senior. Also attended Fort Union (Va.) Military Academy after his senior year. Majored in sociology. Born on October 10, 1989.
