Pro Career


Signed by the Seahawks on June 4, 2008 as a free agent. Originally signed by the Indianapolis Colts in April 2007 as an undrafted rookie free agent and spent the first two weeks of the 2007 on their practice squad until being released on September 20. Played four sea-sons for the Baylor Bears and set a school-record with recording at least one catch in 45 consecutive games. Started 29 of 46 career games and caught155 passes for 1,978 yards and 12touchdowns. Attended North Crowley High in Fort Worth, Texas. Led district in receptions as a senior with 48 catches for 798yards and six touchdowns. Was a two-time first-team all-district selection. Member of Texas Football's 2001 Texas Top 300. Also lettered in track and basketball. Named honorable mention all-district in basketball as a junior and picked up first-team honors in senior season. Held school long jump record. Uncle, George Stewart, played football at Arkansas and was the receivers coach for the Atlanta Falcons in2007.Brother, Terry Shelton, played basketball at Texas-San Antonio and is currently a coach at North Crowley (Texas) High. Brother, Todd, played basketball at Central(Kan.) College and works for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Majored in speech communications. Born on September 21, 1984.
