Prepped at Boardman High where he earned letters in football, wrestling and track, and competed in discus and shot put. First-team All-Steel Valley in football and track. Also named the Vindicator’s Wrestler of the Year and was a first-team All-Eastern Ohio wrestling selection. Holds the school’s season (24) and career (58) pin records. Majored in communications. Born December 28, 1983, in Youngstown, Ohio.
