Acquired as a restricted free agent by the Seahawks from the Minnesota Vikings on March 31, 2006.
NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• Originally selected in the third round (71st overall) of the 2003 Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, the highest receiver drafted by the Vikings since Randy Moss in 1998.
• Led Vikings in receiving yards (1,006) in 2004 and the Seahawks in total TDs (9 rec., 2 ret.) in 2007.
• Took over Seahawks return duties in November 2006 and was the NFC’s Pro Bowl alternate that season. In 2007, tied a Seahawks club record with a 94-yard punt return for TD (Charlie Rogers, at Pitt, 9/26/99) at Cleveland (11/4) and became the only player in NFL history to return three punts 90-plus yards for a TD in his career. Had a 90-yard TD return for the Seahawks vs. the Rams (11/12/06) and a 91-yard TD while with the Vikings vs. the Colts (11/8/04). Returned a kickoff 91 yards for a TD, first of career, versus St. Louis (10/21/07).

Recorded 248 catches for 3,293 yards and 22 touchdowns during this three years at Nevada. Finished career second in NCAA history for receptions in a single season with 138 in 2002. Finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, given annually to the nation’s top wide receiver. Led the nation in receptions per game and receiving yards as a senior and was named first-team All-America by AFCA, All-WAC and team MVP. A second-team All-America byThe Sporting News andCNN/SI. Finished career first in conference and school history in single-game receptions (19) and single-season receptions (138).
PERSONAL:
Earned eight letters in football, basketball and track at O’Dea High School in Seattle. Named Seattle Athlete of the Year as a senior in 1999. Part of an athletically gifted family, started by father, Alvin, who played for the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL from 1976-81. Brother, Kevin, played for the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats. Born in Calgary during his father’s playing days. Human development and family studies major. Married to wife Atoya. Couple has two sons, Nathaniel II and Nehemiah.
Nominees for special teams play of the decade include another big play by Babineaux, a denied two-point PAT after time expired, a long field goal and an even longer punt return.
Event benefits Childhaven, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing prevention, early intervention and treatment programs to eliminate child abuse and neglect.

But to where? To improve on their disappointing 3-5 first half, the Seahawks will have to find ways to win on the road in the second half to reach their goals.
