HOW ACQUIRED:
First of two seventh-round picks (205th overall). Third Seahawks player chosen out of the SEC in the 2011 draft (James Carpenter, Alabama; K.J. Wright, Missisippi State).

NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• Signed from the practice squad to the active roster November 8 and saw action in four of the final seven games. Was inactive three times. Had one solo tackle for the year.

COLLEGE:
Four-year letterwinner on the defensive line for the Tigers. Played in 48 career games (started 22 games in final two seasons). Played first three seasons at defensive end before moving inside to defensive tackle as a senior in 2010. Recorded 70 career tackles to go with 15.5 tackles for loss and three sacks. As a senior, played all 13 games (12 starts) at defensive tackle and led the Bayou Bengals with five QB hurries. Tallied 25 tackles, including two for losses, and set a career high with seven tackles against West Virginia. As a junior, first year as a starter at defensive end, took over for Tyson Jackson who was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft and played in 11 games (10 starts). Finished with 28 tackles, eight tackles for loss and four pass breakups. Played in 10 games as a sophomore with no starts. Registered nine tackles and was among the best off the bench with four tackles for loss and two sacks. Saw limited action in each of the Tigers' 14 games in 2007 as a freshman. Named to Tigerbait.com Louisiana Top 20, the Baton Rouge Advocate Second Dozen, the Mobile Register Super Southeast 120 and the New Orleans Times-Picayune Best of the Rest. Named 5A first-team all-state. Finished a stellar senior season with 82 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, eight sacks and 11 quarterback hurries. Had four fumble recoveries, including two returned for touchdowns. Junior season was cut short due to a torn ACL suffered in his second game. Full name is Lazarius Cortez Levingston. Parents are James Levingston and Marilyn Williams.
