HOW ACQUIRED:
Signed as a free agent with Seattle April 16, 2010, following a minicamp tryout.
NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
- Originally selected by Buffalo in the seventh round (251st overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft. Was waived following training camp (8/28/08). Signed to the Green Bay Packers practice squad (10/27/08) before signing to Jackson- ville’s active roster later that season (12/8/08) for the final four weeks.
- After making Seattle’s squad out of training camp in 2010, was released after week 1, then re-signed to the practice squad on September 16 where he remained until signing back to the active roster October 11.
- During the 2009 season, was signed back and forth from Jacksonville’s practice squad to the 53-man roster multiple times. Was on the roster five weeks and saw action on special teams in four games posting four total tackles.
- Blocked a punt versus Kansas City (11/28/10) that resulted in a TD return by Earl Thomas.

Started final 24 games, appearing in 47. Totaled 98 career tackles (66 solo) and two interceptions. Started 12 games as a senior totaling 32 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery. Named the team’s most improved player as a junior.
PERSONAL:
Three-year starter at Miami Killian High School, playing wide receiver as a sophomore and junior before playing quarterback as a senior. Has three cousins playing in the NFL: Torrie Cox (CB Tampa Bay), Marcus Hamilton (S San Francisco), and Roscoe Parrish (WR Buffalo). Is single with a son, Quanard, and a daughter, Kanaria.
