Signed by Seattle as an undrafted rookie free agent on April 27, 2008.

NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Led the team with 100-plus tackles for the second consecutive year in 2010, this with 105 (74 solo), becoming the eighth player in Seattle history to accomplish that feat.
  • Burst on the scene after Lofa Tatupu was injured for the year (pec) in Week 6, 2009. Led the team with 116 tackles (93 solo) and tied for team-lead with three interceptions.
  • In his first start vs. Chicago (9/27/09), tied for the third-best tackle performance in Seahawks history with 16 (15 solo), along with one interception. Posted first-career sacks with 2.0 at Dallas (11/1/09) and set career-high with two picks vs. Detroit (11/8/09). In 11 starts in 2009, collected 105 stops (84 solo).

Made 38 career starts as a Horned Frog, including all but three contests over the last three seasons. Totaled 186 tackles at TCU. Playing as a graduate student in the 2007 campaign, finished second on the team with 84 tackles while placing third with 5.0 sacks. Nearly doubled previous career high of 43 stops in 2006.

PERSONAL:

Recorded 142 tackles as a senior at Corsicana (Texas) High, with two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two interceptions and scored three defensive touchdowns. Lettered three times in football and twice in basketball. Earned his school's Head Hunter Award on the gridiron and was named Mr. Defense in basketball. Majored in liberal arts.
