Biography

Originally signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted rookie free agent on April 30, 2012 but was released after training camp on August 31. Signed to Seattle’s practice squad on December 6. Waived/injured by Seattle on May 14, 2013 and spent the season on injured reserve. Fenner totaled 158 tackles, three sacks, two interceptions, 18 passes defensed and four forced fumbles in 44 games played with 22 starts at Holy Cross. Started all 11 games at cornerback for the Crusaders and was named first team All-Patriot League for the second straight year, in addition to earning second team All-ECAC honors after his senior season. He ranked fourth on the team with 68 total tackles that season, including two sacks and three tackles for loss. He also led the team with two interceptions and 14 pass breakups. Competed in sprints, the long jump and the triple jump during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons for Holy Cross. Had career-best times of 6.57 seconds in the 55-meter dash, 6.96 seconds in the 60-meter dash and 22.37 seconds in the 200-meter dash. Posted career-long jumps of 6.88 meters in the long jump and 13.89 meters in the triple jump. Attended Frank W. Cox High and was named second-team All-Virginia Beach his senior year. Also a member of the track & field team, earning MVP honors in both football and track and being named the Cox Male Athlete of the Year as a senior. Brother, Maurice, played football at James Madison and led the Dukes to the 2004 NCAA Division I-AA national title. Majored in psychology. Born on July 6, 1990.
