- Spent the entire 2016 season as Seattle’s backup QB and saw limited action in five games.
- Replaced Russell Wilson (knee) in the second half vs. San Francisco (9/25/16) and completed seven-of-nine passes for 65 yards with a TD and INT.
College: Finished career ranked first in TCU history in career passing yards (10,728), passing attempts (1,356), pass completions (830) and touchdown passes (86) in 48 career games with 40 starts. His 61.2 percent completion rate ranked third in TCU history and he became just the fourth player in program history to finish career with a 60.0 percent mark for a career. Compiled 12,777 yards of total offense in college and caught 28 passes as a receiver for 257 yards. He also ran for 2,049 yards on 507 carries with 27 rushing touchdowns.
Personal: Was the district most valuable player and honorable-mention all-state as a senior at West Mesquite (Texas) High. Rushed for 1,799 yards and 30 touchdowns as a senior and also completed 60.7 percent (198-of-326) of his passes for 2,930 yards and 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
