Finished career with 235 tackles, 10.5 sacks, 11 passes. defensed, three forced fumbles and four fumbles recovered. As a senior in 2012, started all 13 games and led team with six sacks. His 77 total tackles placed him third on the squad. Started 11 games in 2011, missing one game with a head injury and one game with a knee injury. Registered 72 tackles and finished fourth on the team with 3.5 sacks and tied for second on the squad with a pair of interceptions. In 2012, started all 13 games and was named a third-team All-Big East selection by Phil Steele. Finished the season with 76 tackles, and one sack. Also posted a forced fumble, a pair of fumble recoveries and four passes defensed. Saw action in 10 games as a freshman in 2009, tallying 10 tackles.
PERSONAL: Attended Loyola Blakefield H.S. in Baltimore, where he was an all-state selection at defensive back. Selected to play in the Maryland Crab Bowl, the state’s all-star game, after finish-ing his senior season with 32 tackles and two interceptions. Majored in interdisciplinary studies.
