NFL Career Highlights:

  • Spent 2016 on Seattle’s practice squad.

College: Lawler finished his collegiate career tied for second on Cal’s all-time list for touchdown receptions and tied for 12th in the Pac-12 with 27 scoring grabs among 143 catches for 1,706 yards receiving over 35 games and 19 starts. Led Cal in both touchdown receptions and overall catches in both his sophomore and junior seasons in 2014 and 2015 while also pacing the club in receiving yards as a junior after co-leading the squad in touchdown receptions as a 2013 redshirt freshman.

Personal: A Prepstar All-American for his play during a 2011 senior season in which he caught 53 passes for 1,267 yards and 12 touchdowns to lead both the Southern Section and the Baseline League.Other honors as a senior included first-team All-State (MaxPreps), second-team All-State (ESPN High School California), first-team All-Southern Section, All-Southland (Los Angeles Times), All-Inland Valley, All-Inland Division and All-Baseline League. Registered 42 catches for 887 yards and nine TDs as a 2010 junior when his squad was 8-4 overall. Majored in sociology.
