Originally drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth-round (211th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft but was released after training camp on September 3, 2016. Signed to the 49ers practice squad the following day until being released on November 28, then signed to Seattle practice squad on November 30. In three seasons with the Florida Gators, appeared in 37 games and rushed for 2,108 yards and 23 touchdowns on 486 carries. In 2015, rushed for 1,035 yards and 13 touchdowns on 259 carries, becoming the ninth player in school history to rush for 1,000 yards in a single-season and his 259 carries were the second-most in school history. Attended Glades Day High and finished his career with 12,121 total yards and 191 touchdowns, surpassing Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith as the state of Florida’s all-time leading rusher. As a senior, rushed for 2,423 yards and 41 touchdowns and named the 2012 Lou Groza High School Player of the Year. Was a Florida Class 2A first-team all-state as a junior and a senior. Son of longtime NFL running back Fred Taylor (1998-2010) and cousin of NFL wide receiver Santonio Holmes (2006-14). Born on September 28, 1993.
