PERSONAL: Passed for more than 2,000 yards and rushed for 500 his senior season at Maury High School (Virginia). Team finished 10-2 after losing in the Group AAA Division 5 playoffs. During one of the playoff games, rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns and threw for 224 yards and two more touchdowns. Also played safety. Was team MVP. Named first-team All- Eastern District quarterback. Also played on the basketball team.
