NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
- Played in 14 regular-season games with one start during rookie season. Saw action in two postseason games. Mostly saw action on special teams, but also saw action at guard and tackle.
- First-career start came versus Oakland (11/2/14) when team opened with a jumbo package.
- Had a 19-yard TD reception on a fake field goal in the NFC Championship Game versus Green Bay that helped key the third-largest come-from-behind victory in Championship Game history. Pass came from punter/holder Jon Ryan in the third quarter with Seattle trailing 16-0.
COLLEGE: Played in 27 career games for the Nittany Lions. Shifted from tight end to offensive tackle prior to 2013 spring practice and added close to 30 pounds during offseason workouts. He earned the start at right tackle in the first two games of the 2013 season and started four games overall, playing in all 12. Caught a total of eight passes for 86 yards in his career, after redshirting the 2009 season, tearing his ACL in 2010 and missing the 2011 season.
PERSONAL: Played four sports at the Milton Hershey School. An All-American, all-state and All-Mid-Penn Conference honoree was a four-year starter, playing tight end and defensive end. He gained 350 receiving yards on 20 receptions and scored four touchdowns in his career. During his senior season, he racked up 70 tackles, five sacks and two interceptions. He finished with 153 tackles, 12 sacks and five interceptions in his scholastic career. He was a conference champion in the javelin and qualified for the state track and field championships. He has a double-major of advertising/public relations and management.
