Coach Bio

Beake joined Seattle’s staff on February 1, 2008 after spending three years as linebackers coach for Jim Mora’s Atlanta Falcons from 2004-06.

 

While with Atlanta, he oversaw a group led by Keith Brooking, and guided Brooking to a Pro Bowl berth in 2004 and 2005.

 

Prior to joining the Falcons, Beake spent six seasons in San Francisco in various capacities. He was a pro personnel assistant (1998), quality control/defense coach (1999), defensive assistant (2000-02) and offensive assistant (2003). In his time with the 49ers, Beake worked with current Seahawks coaches Mora, Bruce DeHaven, Greg Knapp and Dan Quinn.

A graduate of the Air Force Academy in 1994, Beake earned his degree in civil engineering. While a lieutenant, he served as a graduate assistant coach/defense for the 1994 season.

 

Prior to joining the NFL, Beake was a Civil Engineer Officer in the Air Force (1995-98), earning his master’s degree in business administration from West Florida in 1997. Beake and his wife, Andrea, have one son, Colin.
